Vermont Family Portraits: Nissa & Her Family

I met Nissa last Summer when she contacted me about a family portrait session and to tell me about her new endeavor. Nissa and her friend Shannon were in the process of starting a Burlington VT Moms Blog (BVTMB for short) and wanted to know if I would support them with a gift certificate donation for a giveaway. We took it a few steps further and in addition to donating some gift certificates I joined the BVTMB Team as a contributing writer and photographer! Wait, you say, it’s a moms blog and Kathleen does not have kids…how does that work? Lucky for me Nissa & Shannon granted me “honorary mommy” status as my most of my writings are about photography. 😉 The BVTMB has flourished though since it’s release last September! You should definitely check it out. Many talented writers with great things to share!

Now, on to Nissa’s family session. 🙂 They are  expecting their 2nd little girl this Spring and so before she joined the family, Nissa wanted to make certain she had family portraits of just the 3 of them together. Their little sweetheart Nora was just to die for! Her smile and adorable cheeks were a photographer’s dream! 🙂 Enjoy some of my favorites below and check out their finished portrait album at the end of the post! Be well, Kathleen

LOVE LOVE LOVE! The image of the left might considered an outtake, but I had to leave it in and include the diptych as is in the portrait album! What a look!

Reading one of Nora’s (and mine!) favorite kids books: The Going to Bed Book by Sandra Boynton

Vermont is so dreamy. 🙂

Custom portrait albums have either a solid leather or fabric cover or a dual-photo cover. The images are printed onto a beautiful watercolor paper that adds texture and softness to the images. A beautiful keepsake!
