Wonder Bubbles

Devin and I added these glasses to our wedding registry because of a memory I have from my childhood. My class was visiting a glass blowing museum and there was a vase with a single bubble in the base of it. A single, tiny air bubble suspended in space not moving, not popping. It amazed me. I must have watched that bubble the whole time we were in the display room, waiting for it to slowly move to the surface. Even after an explanation from the artist, I was still enthralled by the wonder of it. One puff of air, suspended in space, forever.

I want our kids to one day have that same feeling of wonder and amazement over a single bubble.

Haha! Not yet Suz. Believe you me, our announcement one day will have a lot more fanfare and very little air of mystery. 😉ReplyCancel
