Vermont Wedding: Jen & Clint, Grand Isle Lake House, Vermont

The weather was far from ideal on their wedding day, but Jen & Clint focused on the goal of the day and not the details. It was their wedding day and no matter wind, rain, or chilly breeze, they were getting married and they were going to celebrate with their family & friends! Many people had come from far and wide to celebrate with them at the Grand Isle Lake House in beautiful Vermont and nothing was going to get in the way of a fabulous time!

Congratulations again Jen & Clint! Enjoy a selection of my favorites from the day and check out your slideshow below. 😉 It was such a pleasure getting to work with and know you, your family, and your friends! Everyone added to the day to make it simply perfect. 🙂 All the best, Kathleen

Jen’s wedding gown was her grandmother’s wedding gown. Jen is a seamstress (awesome!!!) and redesigned the gown to fit her and her style. It was amazing!

Fabulous hair accessories that Jen made as well. 🙂

Meet Penny, one of the cutest pups around! She continually wooed guests throughout the day and night. 🙂

Handsome groom! All ready to go.

Jen & Clint opted to do a First Look before their ceremony so that they could see one another privately and then do the bridal and family portraits! More time for the cocktail hour afterwards. 😉

The Grand Isle Lake House has some beautiful locations inside and out! Perfect for rainy weather. 😛

Jen wanted a vintage spring style bouquet. I think Randi of Silver Toad nailed it right on the head! The touches of lilac and mint added an elegant and refreshing fragrance to it. 🙂

Due to the finicky weather, the ceremony was moved to the covered porch. Just another reason why the staff at The Grand Isle Lake House rock: as soon as everyone was seated, they came out with mops and cleaned up the dirt that was tracked in so that the ceremony site was just perfect! 🙂

A sweet moment during the readings. 🙂

Love the thumbs up!

Clint’s mom made the beautiful wedding cake. 🙂

So sweet!!

Thanks so much, Kathleen (I am a tad tardy in saying so on the blog – apologies)!! The photos are fantastic, and you and Robert did an exceptionally stellar job capturing all these moments.
And by the by, for the record, we both were pretty happy with the weather on our wedding day – I like to say it was dramatic! We enjoy Vermont no matter what the season, and this day did not disappoint, giving us rain and pure sunshine in the blink of an eye!
Thank you again, and all the best to you and yours!ReplyCancel
