One of my favorite parts of the wedding day is when family members and guests toast the couple. Sometimes they are short and sweet. Other times there are filled with stories and humor. Every time they are a glimpse into who the couple is when they are not dressed in their finest. And as much as I get to know my couples before their wedding day, I always feel like I know them even better afterwards and especially so after the toasts. 🙂
Maria & Matt were married on a beautiful Vermont summer day at Our lady of the Snows in Woodstock, Vermont. Their reception took place at The Quchee Club where the banquet team really knows how to keep the day flowing smoothly! And from the toasts that were made and the stories that were told, I do not think either Maria or Matt could have found a more perfect match. Maria compliments Matt. Matt completes Maria. They fit together in so many ways! No doubt a perfect union for two wonderful people who love one another sooo much. You could see it in the way they held one another close and you could hear it in the way their family and friends talked about them. I am just so happy I was there to witness the day and capture it for them! Enjoy some of my favorites. 🙂 Be well, Kaht
While I was with the ladies, my fabulous assistant photographer, Justin Cash, was with the guys. In the past I have second shot for Justin, so it was a fun role reversal. 🙂
The guys are all about business here. 🙂
Maria had a pink and aqua color palette throughout the day. Many details came from the awesome artists on Etsy.com. The ring pillow was handmade by a family friend who used fabric from Maria’s mother’s wedding gown. Such a personal touch! And of course NY Yankees #2. Next to Matt, I think Derek Jeter is Maria’s next true love. 🙂
Her gown fit her perfectly! And was so elegant. 🙂
Michelle of Petals Floral Design was here! And did a fabulous job working with the colors!
Maria’s dad’s first glimpse of his beautiful daughter. 🙂
Time to get married!
Love this images by Justin! A shared prayer.
Mr. & Mrs.!
The fabulous bridal party who were such a dream to work with!
The tables were marked with famous philosophers. A reference to Matt & Maria’s career of study. 🙂
More pink! The candy bar was a fabulous tie in and guests loved it!
Not only was the day special because Matt & Maria were getting married, but it was also Maria’s mom’s birthday!
A to Z Cakes also made the giant cupcake and accompanying cupcakes for the guests. The smell of the buttercream alone was to die for!
Those of you with children out there….do you know how to slow dance with them and your sweetheart? Well, here is the answer!! 🙂
Brian Nicks Productions kept the night going strong!
