Kelli & Shane’s wedding day arrived in true Vermont Autumn fashion with unpredictably wet weather. When they say to never trust the 10-Day forecast in Vermont, they mean it! What should have been a beautiful fall day was instead cold, blustery, and wet.
Luckily their ceremony was to take place at Kelli’s father’s church, so not too many plans had to be changed to accommodate Mother Nature. As they both finished getting ready, there was an air of excitement and anticipation as they both waited to meet at the head of the aisle. A long awaited union between two people that are so in love! Come sunshine or rain, together they can weather it all.
Congratulations again Kelli & Shane!! Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your day. Enjoy a few favorites from your day! Be well, Kathleen 🙂
The prayer flags were from Kelli’s father’s wedding. A really nice touch to the entrance of the sanctuary! Middlebury Floral and Gifts made the beautiful Autumn bouquets and boutonnieres.
A deep breath to calm any pre-ceremony jitters. 🙂
Mr. & Mrs.!
The wonderful wedding party that did wonders to keep everyone smiling!
The Middlebury Inn was beautifully decorated! At each spot was a small favor with a tulip bulb for planting. A wonderful representation of marriage as a new beginning! Irene’s Cakes by Design made the beautiful berry cake. 🙂
Kelli made this adorable sign with plans for everyone to parade from the church to the Inn after the ceremony. Due to the weather, the parade did not happen, BUT we still used the sign!
The toasts by family and friends were very entertaining. I always love hearing everyones stories about the couple!
Enjoy a slideshow from the day!
