Jaime & Tricia’s Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm Wedding, VT

You may notice that I reference the weather a lot on my blog, especially when writing about wedding days. Someone recently asked me if I talk about the weather because I have nothing better to say and I shook my finger at them mighty hard. That’s crazy talk! Perhaps in daily conversation the weather is brought up to fill awkward silences and to start conversations with strangers, but weather is a sacred topic when talking about a wedding day.Do you know how many brides & grooms reference the Farmer’s Almanac before even choosing a wedding date? (I did and i know quite a few of my couples do!) And how many couples obsess about the weather on their wedding day starting a month (even sooner!) in advance? And how many wedding vendors create TWO plans for each couple they work for, just in case the weather is not ideal and things need to change on a moment’s notice? (Smoothly and quickly I might add.) And do you know how many sayings have been created over the year to make rain, snow, sleet, hail, thunder, raging heat, and any other intense weather anomaly out to be a blessed omen for the wedding couple? So, no the weather is not an idle topic to fill a void here on my blog, it truly is a starting element to a wedding day.

And so when the week before Jaime & Tricia’s wedding the weather was PERFECT, I bottled some up and brought it along for their wedding day. 😉 And might I say, it was one of the loveliest Autumn days Vermont has had yet! A perfect way for a sweet couple to start their life together.

Jaime & Tricia, you’ve thanked me a hundred times for being your photographer, but honestly, thank you! Without your trust in me and love for one another, I would have nothing to photograph! I’m SO excited to keep in touch with you and hear about all the new adventures in your life together as a married couple! Enjoy reliving your wedding day. xoxo Kathleen

See, perfect day!

I LOVED Jaime & Tricia’s welcome sign!! How cute is the FB reference with their guest number. 🙂

Jaime & Tricia chose to do a First Look prior to their ceremony in order to do all their bridal party and family portraits beforehand and enjoy the celebration after! Forgive me Jaime, you still look stunning even if a bit weepy! 🙂

The fabulous bridal party was made up of Tricia & Jaime’s family and closest friends. 🙂 Such a great group to work with too!

Custom All Stars!!

The white butterfly mobile was in memory of Jaime’s mother. I thought it added a very personal touch being hung over the sweetheart table.

I love this as Jaime and her Dad wait for Tricia to come down the aisle. 🙂

Happily married!!

The Quechee Inn has a beautiful garden patio area that is perfect for cocktails!

I loved all of the toasts! Funny, touching, and memorable. 🙂

Jaime’s Dad’s band, All in Band, rocked it out for a set and had everyone singing along and dancing! Peak Entertainment then took over and kept the party going throughout the night. 🙂

Congratulations again Jaime & Tricia!! Soooo happy for you!

Enjoy Jaime & Tricia’s wedding slideshow below, complete with music! And be sure to leave them some love in the comments section. 😉 Have a great weekend!

Thank you to all of the wonderful vendors who helped make Jaime & Tricia’s wedding day picture perfect!! xoxo
