How Do You Like It? A Giveaway!

It’s one of my weakest points in life…I can never say no! It could be 90 degrees outside and I would be like, ‘Mmmm, yes please.’ 😉

Hot cocoa.

It really makes any day better! And recently I’ve been reading the book Chocolat so ALL I can think about is hot cocoa.

I like it made with milk, whisked smooth with the finest cocoa, topped with homemade marshmallows or whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Puuuuure heaven.

How do you like it? Your cocoa that is. Can you sway me from my standard concoction?

Let’s have a little fun. 🙂

Follow the instructions below to be entered to win a ‘Kathleen’s Favorite Cocoa Gift Bag’. Entries will be accepted through Valentine’s Day!

I love homemade cocoa on the stovetop, mixed with a bit of fresh coffee…and if I have any, some mint. Also, any excuse to use my new Aerolatte :).ReplyCancel

My favorite hot chocolate is the spicy Aztec hot chocolate made with milk and topped with home made kahlua whipped cream. Of course it tastes all the better when shared with friends and family on a cold February night near a warm fire.ReplyCancel

Ohhh your hot cocoa sounds amazing! Share the recipe? I’ve never had homemade marshmallows! Plus I’ve never had good luck making homemade hot chocolate! It usually turns out boring. I love hot drinks!ReplyCancel

Hmmm… I don’t think I can outdo your favorite! I like to keep things simple with milk or milk + cream and either a minty hot cocoa or chai hot cocoa. Sometimes we do get fancy with the melt-on-the-stove variety, which is sooo rich and delicious!ReplyCancel

I love when my husband makes me hot chocolate because he knows just the right amount of milk to put in and it is always extra sweet because it is made with love!ReplyCancel

Rounds of rich chocolate ganache (think truffle center and I keep a stash individually wrapped in the freezer) melted into whatever warm beverage vehicle, for me milk, topped with real whipped cream!ReplyCancel

My favorite is taking 85% cocoa and melting it with some coconut milk. Topping it with coconut cream and a little cinnamon. Delicious!ReplyCancel

A cup of cocoa isn’t complete without a candy cane to stir with and ‘mallows (bigger = better) floating around the ‘icebergs’ of whip cream and drizzlings of chocolate sauce, in a penguin cup for the final touch of course.ReplyCancel
