First Day of Spring, Vermont Style

It may be the First Day of Spring, but here in Vermont it sure looks like Winter! The past few weeks have been quite bare and icy, but over the weekend we got a fresh cover and then yesterday through this morning we got more! Many folks are quite ready for Spring, but I cannot help but love when big flakes of snow are softly falling. 🙂 It’s so romantic!  Spring will be here soon. Until then I’ll enjoy the last bits of Winter in Vermont. Be well, Kathleen

This past weekend Devin and I got out skiing at Smugglers for the first time in two years! I was worried I would have forgotten how to ski, but luckily it’s like riding a bike! Devin even said I had nice form. 😉 As you can see though, I am still not a fan of how cold I get…true Spring skiing is more to my liking. 🙂

I took this next image last night after getting home from my Vermont Association of Wedding Professionals seminar. Cora had been home all day and after cruising around the yard at top speed with snow fountaining up behind her, she stopped and just sniffed. Fresh snow does smell nice. 🙂
