“People who meet in this romantic setting are so hypnotized by the lovely.”
That is a line from “Moonlight in Vermont” by Frank Sinatra and was a perfect fit for Elisabeth & Ian’s first dance together. 🙂 Although they did not meet inVermont, Elisabeth told me that Vermont holds a special place in her heart as she would visit often to ski in the winter and spend summers on Lake Morey. And so when she met Ian she introduced to him her second love in life: Vermont. 🙂 She even taught him to ski/snowboard so that he could join her on the slopes! No doubt as they spent time in beautiful Vermont, their love for one another grew. There is just something magical about the mountains and fresh air! 🙂
In perfect Vermont fashion, Elisabeth & Ian’s wedding day dawned bright and sunny only to turn into a complete downpour a few hours before the ceremony. Both the bride and groom took things in stride though and focused on what mattered most: one another. In perfect Vermont timing, the weather cleared up about 30 minutes before the ceremony and the team at The Equinox Resort gallantly moved all the chairs back outside and dried things off. From there on out it was a beautiful evening with a fabulous sunset over the mountain! A beautiful Vermont day for a lovely couple. 🙂
Enjoy some of my favorites below and check out their slideshow at the end of the post to hear Frank Sinatra in all his glory. 🙂 Be well, Kathleen
