Devon & Greg’s Wedding, Glen Island Harbour Club, NY

I met Devon & Greg at Courtney & Paul‘s Dutch Barn wedding last year and then had the distinct pleasure of getting to have dinner with them (Courtney & Paul too!) when they visited Vermont later in the summer for a friends camping trip. Not only was it an awesome dinner at the VT Pub & Brewery, but it was an awesome day as Greg had just proposed to Devon the night before! ::gush:: Hearing the story of their romantic proposal made for a lovely evening. 🙂

Now, I have the true pleasure of sharing their other romantic story with you: their wedding day! Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle, New York made a perfect venue for Devon & Greg’s seashore themed wedding. It is right on the bay and just a beautiful setting! Kelly of Mountain Dog Photography was my c0-pilot this day and helped out a lot capturing fun scene setter images while I focused on Devon & Greg. 🙂

Thank you a million times Devon and Greg for allowing me to be a part of your day! Each shared smile and sweet kiss just reaffirms that you two are meant for one another. Day to day. Rain or shine. Clapping thunder or rolling waves. 🙂 Congratulations! Enjoy reliving your wonderful day. Be well, Kaht

As we left, Kelly said, “I have a treat for you! But you have to find it…” Maybe this awesome image she caught is that fabulous surprise! Just as Greg arrived with his dad. 🙂 Love it!  🙂

Arcadia Floral made the beautiful bouquets and centerpieces.

Devon made such a beautiful bride! I just loved her elegant dress with the layers. 🙂

Just before we headed out to find Greg for the First Look, Devon and her dad had a First Look of their own. It was really sweet and so special for them! Daddy’s little girl. 🙂

Devon and Greg chose to do a First Look before their ceremony to have a quiet moment to themselves and to save some time afterwards on family portraits. More time to enjoy the cocktail hour! It was also a great idea because the weather did not cooperate in our favor after the ceremony. Complete downpour! First Look saves the day for outside portraits. 🙂

The awesome bridal party that had me laughing and smiling the whole day! 🙂 Thank you for being a peach to work with!

Time to get married!

A huge clap of thunder sounded just as the ceremony started and the skies opened up! Thankfully we were dry under the tent. 🙂

The new Mr. & Mrs.!

The Glen Island Harbor Club team made the fabulous beach cake. The shell details and little beach chairs…Loved it!

As the weather cleared, it left behind some wispy clouds. Perfect for evening portraits!

Some wonderful and touching toasts by D&G’s family members. 🙂

Say Cheese Photobooth was a hit and a fun way to have everyone sign the guest book. 🙂

Night Market Band kept the party going!

Congratulations again you two!!

another stunning event captured just right. My two favorites are the fathers’ expression when he is hugging his “little girl” and the tapping of the silver shoes. Of course so many wonderful moments but you get the ones we usually remember in our heads if we are lucky.ReplyCancel
