Day Trip to Stowe, Vermont

The roads were a mess when we headed out in the morning blizzard snow, but we were determined to have a fun day exploring the Stowe area for hidden treasures! And hidden treasures did we find. 🙂 Kelly of Mountain Dog Photography is a close friend and one of my favorite people to explore with! One of our stops was this fabulous antique barn in Jeffersonville, VT. While browsing through things we came across 4 volumes of Cat-O-Graphs: A Cat-a-log of the Year’s Best Cat Pictures from the 1950’s. If any of you are familiar with Imgur.com or LOLcats.com, you will know why we  needed to have these. 🙂 We bought the 4, chose 2 each and gave them to our husbands (avid fans of LOLcats and Imgur) for Valentines Day. That’s love, huh? 🙂 You can check out Devin’s post here with pictures to see just what I am talking about.

After our stop by the antique shop we visited our friend Orah’s gift shop and studio in Morrisville and then took the scenic route into Stowe where we walked around the shops and had a yummy lunch at Pie in the Sky. Such awesome pizza!!

The snow cleared up just enough for us to hop out and make some pictures too. 🙂 I just LOVE how beautiful Vermont is!
