With three seasons of the year filled to overflowing with weddings and portrait sessions, we photographers take time in the winter to enjoy one another’s company and to put our other skills to work! Amanda of Orchard Cove Photography is not only a good friend, but a fellow crafter! She came over this past week and we visited and worked on some little projects that had been tempting us: one useful and one just for fun!
I saw this hat template and thought 1) how cute! and 2) looks easy! So we each tackled one and YES! They were pretty easy. 🙂 Check out the directions here.
Sized for heads a wee bit smaller than our own. Yeah, we’re goofballs. 🙂
Re-Usable produce bags to replace the plastic ones at the store. We each made several different sizes and kept coming up with different fruits or veggies we could put in them. 🙂 Plums, cherries, corn, beans, lettuce etc. As with any re-usable store bags though, remember to wash them! Don’t want salmonella or something else hanging out. You can find the produce bag tutorial here.
