Autumn Watch

Boys will be boys, as the saying goes, but in this case there is nothing to worry about as their furry pal is keeping watch while they play. πŸ™‚

This image brings back many fond childhood memories. My sister and I used to love exploring our yard and the little patch of forest behind our house. The sawdust pile here looks a bit like Camel’s Hump… good thing these boys brought their trusty dog (and partner in crime?) to watch them scale their mountain!ReplyCancel

Wow Kaht, I love this image. Kids grow up too quickly and this definitely captures a sweet moment in time between these brothers. Great work! xoReplyCancel

What a sweet capture! I also remember being a little kid and having our family dog watch over me as I played outside. They will cherish this captured moment in the future!ReplyCancel

Kaht, my dear, I always love looking through your posts and this one is no exception. Happily I remember how GIANT those piles of wood chips or other landscaping materials could seem! I can almost hear the laughter and feel the excitement between brothers – another moment wonderfully capturedReplyCancel

    Thank you everyone! πŸ™‚
Yes, I do remember how big those wood chip piles seemed! Now I look at them and see a lot of work. HA!
Ronna, no doubt they will have many fond memories of their childhood! They have some wonderful parents that love them so. πŸ™‚
Liz, most days are like this. πŸ˜‰ReplyCancel

Like this shot. Especially their dog watching over them. When I was that little I had dog who followed me every where and always protected me. I love that you are always willing to move away from traditional posed portraits and take the time to find these little moments.ReplyCancel

Wow Kaht! This is my brother and I from 30+ years ago. We loved to play in leaf, dirt and snow piles growing up! I really enjoy your candid shots and this is one of my favorites =)ReplyCancel
