Andi & Steve’s Wedding, Goodwood Plantation, Tallahassee, FL

There are only a few certain people in this world that I would submit myself to 100 degree plus temperatures decked out in full wedding gear. Very special, well loved, highly thought of people. Lucky for Andi and Steve, they are amongst this elite group. 🙂 And double lucky for me that they consider me to be on their elite list, allowing me to be a part of their fabulous wedding day! 🙂

After meeting Andi & Steve last year at Andi’s brother’s wedding, I knew they were something special. However, to speak candidly about Andi & Steve is really hard….why? Well, every time I want to tell you about them, I end up getting all goofy with stars in my eyes and little butterflies around my head because they are simply two of the nicest people I have ever met! Maybe it’s the Southern living that has sweetened them up, or the extreme temperatures that have melted their hearts or perhaps it is just because they reflect one another in such a way that each is made better by loving the other. Either way Devin and I had a wonderful time working with them, laughing with them, dining with them, and enjoying their joyous love! They even took us to see manatees and alligators the day after the wedding! True Southern hospitality. Enjoy some of my favorites from the day and check out the slideshow for the whole story! 🙂 Be well, Kathleen

6 years ago Andi saw the wedding gown of her dreams on the cover of Modern Bridal magazine. She LOVED it! And when Steve proposed, she knew she needed that gown. But it had been discontinued! After some research, she found it and Steve flew to NJ and brought it home for Christmas. 🙂 All without peaking at it too! It was a true Southern wedding gown.

Goodwood Museum is an old plantation that has a lot of neat history. Devin and I had the pleasure of touring the mansion with a tour guide telling us all the neat things! It is an amazing wedding location as the ceremony takes place on the lawn under beautiful large trees and the reception is at the beautiful stable barn. I just LOVED it!

Missy Gunnels Flowers did a beautiful job creating elegant bouquets of roses and tulips for Andi and her girls.

Steve looking fabulously dapper! And calm as can be. 😉

Andi made such an beautiful bride! A picture of elegance.

I loved watching Steve out of the corner of my eye as he watched Andi and her father make there way down the path and to the aisle. His face just kept getting brighter!

Married!!

Andi and her beautiful attendants.

Steve and his gentleman.

A little extra love for the bride. 🙂

And a little for the groom as well. 😉 LOVE the flower girl!!

I just loved the open space of the high ceilings!

Sassy evening shoes!

Some fun details and design by John Gandy Events!  John and his team were so awesome to work with. I tried to tempt him to come to Vermont under the ruse that everything was made of maple sugar…he didn’t believe me. 🙂 The amazing cake was by Katie’s Cakes. Missy and her team did the floral centerpieces.

So in love. 🙂

A favorite from the day!

Enjoy their slideshow! The party was a true celebration!
